Jarred Seymour

Jarred Seymour (born 22 February 1990) is an Australian ice hockey player currently playing for the Cornell University in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
==Playing career==
Seymour first played for the Toronto Marlboros of the Greater Toronto Hockey League. In 2006 he was drafted by the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League as their third round pick, 46th overall. Seymour however went on to play for the Wellington Dukes of the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League during the 2006–07 season. After playing three games for the Dukes he moved to the Stouffville Spirit for the following season.〔 Seymour stayed with the Spirit for two seasons playing a total of 100 games. Following the end of the 2007–08 season with the Spirit Seymour moved to New York and joined the ice hockey program at Cornell University who play in the NCAA Men's Division I ECAC Hockey conference.〔 Seymour did not dress for any of the seasons 34 games for Cornell during the 2009–10 season and during the 2010–11 season he played only one game for the team against Princeton University before leaving the program part-way through the season.〔
After leaving the varsity team, Seymour joined the Cornell University's Big Red's club hockey team, an American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I competitor, for the 2011-12 season.〔http://achahockey.org/player_roster.php?team_id=12908&league_id=1059〕
Seymour was first called up to represent Australia in 2005 where he joined the national under-18 team to compete in the 2005 IIHF World U18 Championships Division III tournament being held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Australia won the tournament, gaining promotion to Division II and Seymour finished the five game tournament with three goals and two assists. He again played for the under-18 team in the 2007 IIHF World U18 Championship Division II Group B, recording four assists and 58 penalties in minutes. In 2009 he joined the men's senior team to compete in the 2009 IIHF World Championship Division I Group A tournament. Australia lost all five of their games and were demoted to Division II for the following year. Seymour recorded one goal and three assists for the tournament.〔 In 2012 he was re-called to the national senior team to compete in the 2012 IIHF World Championship Division I Group B. Australian finished last and were relegated to Division II Group A for the following year, while Seymour recorded a single assist and finished the tournament with a plus/minus of –6.
